Arkham Gazette #3 update (10/10)

I thought we might take a break from our October-ganza project and give everyone an update on how things are progressing on the next issue of the Arkham Gazette.
I do not have a definite release date planned for the issue, due to it still being written and for logistical reasons related to securing the rights to release the next issue in print. That being said, I’m happy with the progress we’re making on things. Most of the material coming from other authors has been submitted (and I’m sorry if you’re awaiting my feedback on submissions! I’ll try to respond to everyone soon) and I’m making good progress on the pieces I’ve been working on. Ideally the text will be wrapped up by the end of the month (aka Halloween).
On the artistic side of things, Dean Englehardt has completed work on two documents for the issue, both covering some interesting topics in witch-lore, and they are both lovely to look at. Meanwhile new art has been coming in at a steady pace as well, but only one rat-thing illo so far though 😉
For the numerically inclined, our current word-count stands at 26,000, with 22 separate articles. I may cull a few of those (mostly my own work), since we’ve got plenty of material and I can always either move them into a future issue or make them available here on the blog.
I hope these updates are informative. Please enjoy our on-going October-ganza post series here on the blog. I hope to have more news about the next issue soon.
